Karen was such an inspiration to everyone she met. She had a huge impact on my life. I also had breast cancer this past year and all the treaments that go along with this disease. Karen was always encouraging me and others at our support group. She was like a light when she walked in the room. Always smiling and full of God's love. I thank God for the mantel that Karen has left for us.
When I read these words I think of Karen. "God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters. Yes, our comfort is designed to be shared! This is what Karen did so beautifully and with grace (God's grace).
Her service was a testimony to her life, it was beautiful. I pray the God of comfort and restoration comes to dwell in your home to renew your strength and healing.

Just today I entered the blogspot. For a few days / weeks I have been uneasy as to the development of things. BUT, then everyday hazzle has choked the thoughts.
I will carry with me the sadness and grief after getting to know of her death, but also the joy of having met, read and heard about a happy christian sister, a human that had met God, accepted the wonderful salvation of Christ, waited for Him and had tasted His Peace.
How wonderful are the feet of those that bring good tidings!
